John’s training as a watercolorist began in the early ’70s when He attended the John Pike School of Watercolor in Woodstock, N.Y. John spent three summers in Woodstock.

I love abstract painting! I am self-taught. I paint because I love to see people smile when they view my art! My goal is to make people happy! Life is art! If I make someone enjoy my work it makes me feel so good. When I paint I am the happiest and I want everyone to feel that!
