Wonderful pieces from local artists were displayed in the facility. There was great food and live entertainment to enjoy while checking out the beautiful artwork. This is the 11th year of this great cultural event.
The Gulf Coast Writers Association meets each month here at the Carnegie Building on the fourth Saturday of each month at 11 am. Each meeting provides an informative guest speaker and an opportunity to network with a great group of supportive fellow authors.
The Mississippi Heritage Trust will hold their Preservation Toolkit Workshop in Gulfport July 25th-27th. We are pleased to be hosting them here at the Carnegie Building.
In conjunction with the First United Methodist Church, we will be holding our 5th annual Arts & Psalms Summer Art Camp the week of June 18th-22nd, 9am-1pm. The camp is open to middle school children ages 10-15.
We are pleased to announce that the Historical Society of Gulfport will be joining us here at the Carnegie Building. They will hold their meetings in our conference room, and be hosting historical art exhibits.
Milton Williams is having an art show at Gallery 782 in Biloxi (2 blocks North of Hard Rock Casino Hwy 90, on Jackson Street) and you are invited. Hope you can make it. May 4th 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM Reception. The show will be up until May 26th.
