Mary Beth Barnett has lived in France, Germany, and Turkey, as well as in many different States, but her heart always remained on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Today she enjoys spending time with family, lunching with former high school classmates, supporting the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra, birding with the local Audubon chapter, substituting on the keyboard at St Mark’s Episcopal Church, and, most of all, experimenting with watercolors.  

She loves the variety of others’ works and the imprint of each personality. She believes you can paint only what you can see. She keeps trying to see more.
