 Gloria Ribar

Gloria has painted in oils for years, but more recently has switched to watercolors.  Whatever the medium, Gloria’s paintings reflect her sense of the beautiful and the interesting in her everyday surroundings—country and cityscapes, as well as floral and wildlife scenes.

Gloria moved to Long Beach, MS with her husband John over twenty years ago.  Originally a native of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, she studied at Indiana University- Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).  Gloria has two daughters and five grandchildren; John has four sons, twenty grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Gloria is presently employed as an administrative assistant by First United Methodist Church, Gulfport. She has studied under several artists, including GGFA co-founder Mary Anne Barkley.
